Let me tell you a short story.
It happened a month ago.
I attended a meeting with some creatives where we talked about growth, and other things.
As the meeting proceeded…
A baby of one of the participants started pounding the top of an office desk with her feeding bottle.
The noise was distracting.
So, I tried to reach for the feeding bottle, but the baby refused to give it up.
I put on my thinking cap, and an idea struck my mind.
Do you know what I did next?
I offered the baby one of the candies I bought on my way to the venue, and…
He dropped the feeding bottle Immediately and focused his attention on the more desirable object- the candy.
That’s #salemanship!
How?
I achieved my objective without using force, or making the baby cry.
A win-win situation for us all. 😃
Now let’s bring this to business, sales and marketing.
You can achieve your sales and businessgrowth goals if you understand your target audience well.
Don’t bully your customers, clients, or prospects into buying from you.
You’d repel them.
Are you wondering what you should do?
First, you need to understand…
People don’t want to be sold, but they love to buy.
With that in mind, all you need to do, to make more sales is to…
… appeal to the interest and desires of your target audience.
Know what they really want, and be able to explain how your product or service can help them achieve that goal.
Focus your message on the benefits of your offer, and the transformation they’d get IF they get it.
It doesn’t have to be difficult.
When you understand what your target audience needs, you’ll be able to tailor your offer to appeal to their interest.
… and if done correctly, they’ll give you their money, or do your bidding, without objections.
I hope this helps.
