3 Stages To Boost Your Conversion Rate Consistently

Dear business owner/ copywriter,

Before you send out any sales or marketing message, you must understand these 3 stages if you want to convert your prospect easily into a client.

I’m assuming you already understand that your product or service is NOT for you, but for your prospect.

You want to solve her problems, ease her pain, and improve her life.

That’s your priority, and you should stick to it.

Focus on her, her needs, and #satisfaction.

Remember, she’s selfish, and she’s getting pitched by your competitors too.

You want nothing that would make her lose interest in your message and leave.

Understanding the three stages of your customer journey will help you effortlessly convert her into a hot-paying client.

 

Now let’s get to the meat and potatoes of this post.

𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟏:

 

📌 The current phase –  #Pain :

This is where you make her understand her pain.

Describe it in such a way that she thinks you’re a mind reader.

Make her wonder and ask, “How come you know so much about me and my situation?”

If you do it right, this would make her pay more attention to your message, and commit to reading more…

… to find out more about how much you know about her and her situation.

At this point, you’ve got her attention, and she’s…… #HOOKED.

Congrats, the first phase achieved

 

This will lead us to…

𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚 2:

📌  The #Dream:

Everyone who knows they have a problem is always seeking for a solution.

They have a dream that, should they lay their hands on the right product or service…

… their pains will fade away.

Each night, she fantasizes and hopes she gets the right product/service, soonest.

She wants to live her life in peace—without the worry and pain that the problem she’s having gives her.

Here’s where you continue from Stage 1.

Paint a picture of her dream for her.

Make her understand that you feel what she’s going through at the moment.

Connect with her on an emotional level.

Make her understand how quickly she wants a solution and how much better her life will be once she has it.

 

Again, if you do this right, you’ll increase her admiration and liking for you.

Why?

Because you’re telling her things that no one else is.

Your competitors have been going after her just to get her money WITHOUT trying to understand her, first.

But, you’re doing the complete opposite.

You’re #empathizing with her.

She feels she can trust you because you know her hidden pains and hopeful desires.

Now, she’s getting connected to you…

She is getting to KNOW and LIKE you more.

She’s finding a buddy in you. (don’t betray her)

Now that you’ve gotten her hooked… told her her pains… and desires…

 

Here’s where we’d enter the last stage.

 

𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚 3:

📌 The #Outcome:

Here’s the stage you tell her about how her dream can become a reality with a product or service.

Don’t rush it.

Make her understand there are others in her shoes who have found solution.

Yes, they are real, and they are living their lives to the fullest.

Make her understand that people who were once in her shoes are now living her dreams.

How?

Here’s where you introduce your product/service.

Then SHOW her proof of your customers who are enjoying the benefits of your product at the moment.

At this phase, doubt may set in… here’s where you give her your solid #GUARANTEE (money back, opt-out, cancel #subscription… etc)

This is done to remove every sales friction/resistance in her mind.

You’ve got to make the ride as smooth as possible from Start – Finish.

When you’ve done this…

Show her where to get your product/service to solve her problems and live the life of her dreams, like your other satisfied clients.

The probability of her buying would be high.

Why?

You took her on an EMOTIONAL  journey, from her PAIN–SOLUTION… without sounding salesy or pushy like she has been used to.

Pattern Interrupt, baby!

And if she gets satisfaction from your product or service, she’ll come back to you for more.

You’ve got a satisfied customer—every business’s most valuable asset.

If you do this right, you’ll notice an increase in your conversion rate.

However, you shouldn’t betray her trust by selling her substandard goods/services to her. DON’T!

You may fool her once, but, you’d lose her for life.

Remember…

A bad review spreads fast and kills a business faster.
